This privacy policy applies to all GoDiyar services across the website and any related applications, and covers all users: guests, property owners and visitors.

By using the platform you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described here. If you disagree with any part, please stop using the platform and contact us with any questions.

We collect the following categories of data, only to the extent needed to provide our services:

• Account data: name, email, phone number, and an encrypted password.
• Booking data: stay dates, guest count, booked property, booking value and payment method.
• Owner data: ownership documents or management contracts, and the bank account for payouts.
• Usage data: pages browsed, searches, and properties added to wishlist or compare.
• Technical data: device and browser type, IP address, and cookies.

We use your data exclusively for the following purposes:

• Fulfilling bookings and enabling contact between you and the other party (owner or guest).
• Sending booking confirmations and important alerts about your stay or property.
• Improving the experience and personalising search results and suggestions.
• Protecting the platform from fraud and abuse, and verifying identities.
• Sending marketing offers, only with your prior consent, revocable at any time.

We never sell your personal data to anyone, and only share it in these narrow cases:

• With the owner or guest: we share name and phone number after booking confirmation, solely to coordinate arrival.
• With technical service providers (hosting, SMS, email) contractually bound to protect data.
• With official authorities upon a binding legal request from a competent authority in the Kingdom.
• In a merger or acquisition, data transfers to the new entity under the same guarantees of this policy.

We use cookies and local storage to run essential functions, remembering your preferred language, your session and your wishlist, plus analytics that help us understand and improve platform usage.

You can control or delete cookies from your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect features such as wishlist saving and login.

We guarantee the following rights over your data; exercise them by contacting us at any time:

• Access: request a full copy of the data linked to your account.
• Rectification: correct inaccurate data from your account page or via support.
• Erasure: request permanent deletion of your account and data, except what the law requires us to keep.
• Objection: stop marketing messages instantly via the unsubscribe link or account settings.
• Portability: receive your data in a readable electronic format.

We apply technical and organisational safeguards including HTTPS-encrypted connections, password hashing, internal access restricted to authorised staff only, and periodic security reviews.

We retain your data while your account is active, and booking and invoice data for the period required by Jordanian financial and tax legislation, after which it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
