When you search for a stay on GoDiyar, we rank the results based on several signals so the best matches appear first. This article explains what shapes the ranking and how to refine your search.
1.What shapes the ranking
GoDiyar search blends objective signals: platform verification, media quality (photos and video), guest reviews, verified social signals (backlinks and social posts), and how closely the listing matches your search terms and filters.
- "Verified" and featured listings rank higher in "Recommended".
- Listings with a verified video tour and 20+ photos get a visibility boost.
- Verified promotion signals (like backlinks) lift a listing in "Recommended".
- Reported or unverified listings drop in ranking.
2.How to use filters to refine results
Narrow your results with 30+ filters: city, dates, guest count, property type, price range, bedrooms and bathrooms, and amenity groups (private pool, BBQ, AC, Wi-Fi, and more).
- Use "Real photos only" to see listings with verified photos.
- Enable "Verified video only" for listings with a platform video tour.
- "Instant book" shows listings you can book without waiting for host approval.
- "Verified only" shows listings that passed admin verification.
3.Sort modes: Recommended, Top rated, Price, Newest
"Recommended" is the default and balances multiple signals. Switch with the sort menu: "Highest rated" puts top-rated listings first, "Price low/high" sorts by the effective price (after discounts), and "Newest" shows the most recent listings first.
4.Why your results may differ from someone else's
Some results depend on your interface language, the dates you chose, and your guest count. Listings from suspended or disabled host accounts never appear to guests.
